    wow. I did not know that! I LOVE tulips. And I love my husband… yet, for some reason he has never grasped my subtle hints that tulips are my favorite and he still gets me star gazer lilies. Which I also LOVE, but they are just not my favorite. But that’s ok… I have a lifetime to drop more hints. I’m just glad he gets me flowers. 🙂

    And here all these years I just thought they looked longer/bigger after “wilting” in odd directions.

    Beautiful flowers by the way.

    I’ve always been a carnation fan but I think because they were inexpensive and lasted a LONG time.
