This is practically math

Bands whose songs all sound the same: Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Offspring, Green Day.

Bands whose songs all sound the same who I like: All of the above minus Smashing Pumpkins.

Bands/artists I wish I liked but who I don’t, in fact, like at all: Rolling Stones, U2/Bono, Sting.

Bands/artists I wish I liked but who I don’t, in fact, like at all who are British or Irish: All of the above.

Things I have against the British or the Irish other than the fact that they’re the origin of sometimes-awful bands/artists, like those listed above: Nothing.

I don’t particularly like Bono (I’m more of a fan of The Edge), but I love U2. And this? This is just the business. (Music starts around 1:20).

What about the Beatles? (I have to be in the mood, and then really only a half dozen songs I love.)

I like Foo Fighters, RHCP and Green Day. Can’t say I know much Offspring, but maybe I’d know it when I hear it. It totally surprises me, but I LOVE Gaga. I haven’t listened to pop music since… well, never, unless you count McHammer & C&C Music Factory.

HAHAHAHA!! I agree with you 100% on the first category. I laughed at all of it! It practically *is* math.
