I thought the bottle of La Victoria hot sauce in our refrigerator was a fluke. My old roommate must have left it when she moved out. Or maybe Calvin gave it to us when he moved. Surely, Chris did not go out and buy it, right? I mean, this is, without a doubt, a Tapatio house, folks. Or so I thought. Then tonight, as we brought out all the beef taco accoutrement, Chris pulled out this bottle of La Victoria. Me and Señor Tapatio are muy disappointed.

haha… I’ve had my La Victoria moments. Its good on taquitos!! Its basically ketchup with a small kick. We used to be exclusively a Tapatio house too… but eventually Cholula won our hearts. We buy TWO bottles every time we go grocery shopping. If only they came in Tapatio sized bottles! Hmmmm….
I’ll take Cholula when there’s no Tapatio. But La Vic? BLASPHEMY!
What about the cock sauce?! And no, that isn’t a euphemism. It’s the hot sauce with the rooster on it…but we (James, Chan, Gabe, Adam, and I) all call it cock sauce because, well, it’s funnier that way.
um, from the real mexicans – totally la victoria all the way.
the bernals were raised on a steady diet of la vic
