Chris’s Grammy made us this quilt as a gift for our wedding and since our apartment is freezing cold in the winter (yeah, yeah, we live in San Diego..SHUT UP, it does get cold when you don’t have heat), we’ve been using it pretty much every night to keep warm while watching TV. What you can’t see in the picture is that we’re both huddled up under the quilt and there’s still a TON of extra room in there. A giant thank you goes out to Grammy for making us a perfect-sized (read: enormous) quilt.
I can’t tell you how badly I want to snuggle with that quilt right now. There is NOTHING better than snuggling with a cozy quilt on the couch… with my hubby by my side. That is until he unnecessarily hogs the quilt and his cold feet touch mine.
wedding quilts are the best! especially from grandma. we slept with our grandma wedding quilt for three years. . . but I got scared the wear But oh do i love and miss my beautiful quilt!
